Azerbaijan theater to perform in Venice

Azerbaijani ADO Theatre will take part in ‘It’s Liquid International Art Show’ to be held in Venice on March 1-30.
The ADO team will stage the play “The Voice of Woman” in the Palazzo Ca 'Zanardi, a historic palace of the 16th century, located in the heart of Venice.
Notably, Italian actors will also take part in the play.
Initially named “Oda”, ADO Theatre – Collective was founded by Emin Badalov on July 15, 2013.
“Oda” was the first independent theatre in Azerbaijan ever created. By expanding on its action plan, it has now been transformed into “ADO Theatre – Collective” and covers different branches of art.
ADO Theatre is a unique platform for contemporary creativity in Azerbaijan and a space for new cultural practices. ADO offers new forms and is constantly in search of new formats, creative experiments and innovations. It strives to destroy the standards of classical productions and practices in the field of performing arts. The theatre went on tours to Georgia, Turkey, Italy, Iran, France, Belarus and Ukraine.
Its Liquid International Art Show selects all interesting architectural projects, photos, paintings, video art, installations/sculptures and performance art works.
Artists from Germany, Spain, Mozambique, Ukraine, USA, Denmark, Portugal, Brazil, Holland, Great Britain, Belgium, Lithuania, Slovenia, Greece, Poland, Jamaica, France and Switzerland will take part in the festival.
