Ganja has hosted the third Festival of Stage Dance " Kapaz Cup 2018", co-organized by the Azerbaijan Youth Union and Azerbaijan Dance Association (ADA).

The contest was held in Ganja State Philharmonic Society, brining together talented dancers from Baku, Ganja, Agstafa, Shamkir, Tovuz, Goygol, Mingachevir and Barda, Trend Life reported.

The jury included famous dancers and choreographers Tahir Eynullayev, Ulviya Hasanova, Aysel Huseynova.

The competition was organized to reveal talented dance groups, duos and soloists performing in a variety of styles, and select dancers and teams who will represent Azerbaijan in the European and World Championships.

Another goal of the event was to exchange experiences among managers, teachers and dancers, promote healthy lifestyle and leisure activities among people.

Ensemble-baby: "Damla" studio (Baku)

Solo-junior: Nigar Mustafazadeh, dance group "Buta" (Baku)

Ensemble - mixed category: dance group "Azerin" (Ganja)

Classical dances:

Ensemble junior: dance group "Fidanlar" (Mingechevir)

Bollywood:

Solo-baby: Ayan Gumbatova, "Buta" (Baku)

Solo-junior: Nurai Hasanova, "Fidanlar" (Mingachevir)

Duet-junior: Yusif Abbasov and Fidan Abbasova, "Buta" (Baku)

Duet-adults: Nail Gahramanov and Farhad Aliyev, "Buta" (Baku)

The ensemble-mixed category: "Buta" (Baku)

Folklore-stylization:

Ensemble-baby: "Damla" studio (Baku)

Duet-junior: Nigar Safarova (Barda) and Zeynba Gafarova (Ganja)

The junior group: "Azeri" ihidleri (Baku), "Azerin" (Ganja)

Ensemble-junior: "Syanan" studio (Ganja)

Ethno-folk:

Solo junior: Nurai Hasanova, "Fidanlar" dance group (Mingachevir), Sevinj Guliyeva, "Syanan" studio (Ganja)

Ensemble - junior: "Ruslan" dance group (Ganja).
