Luisa Sello to give concert in Baku

Baku International Mugham Center will host a New Year concert of great Italian musician - Luisa Sello on December 29, at 19:00.
Luisa Sello is acclaimed Italian flute player, Ambassador of Music and Italian Culture in the World. She will perform a very particular program for Baku spectators, especially in occasion of the celebration one of the loveliest holidays of Azerbaijani people - New Year.
The colorful and shiny concert, organized by International Mugam Center and United Cultures, will be supported by the Ministry of Culture of Italy and under the patronage of Italian region of Friuli-Venezia-Giulia.
The concert program is foreseen very magnificent and saturated, as befits the New Year's atmosphere of Baku.
The performance will include either classical pieces from great composer of the past like Giachino Rossini, Geoge Bizet and V.A. Mozart, also such as pieces from famous contemporary composers as Ennio Morricone and Valter Silviotti.
Moreover, Luisa Sello will perform together with local Azerbaijani musicians works by Stefano Muscaritolo and Kamalya Alizadeh, who composed some music pieces for this concert. One of this composition foresees the participation of the great Azerbaijani Counter-tenor Ilham Nazarov.
Furthermore, Italian musician will also perform pieces from the ethnic tradition of Italy and Azerbaijan with the participation of the tar player Sahib Pashayev, arranged in a particular musical synthesis created by Kamalya Alizadeh and Stefano Muscaritolo.
