Azerbaijani singer EMIN has released a new album. This year the artist is pleased to present a collection of Russian-language duets, "Forgive Me, My Love", musician's official site reported.

"Initially, I did not plan to release this album,” Emin explains. “But while working in preparation for my upcoming concert and recording the duets, it quickly became clear that every song is very meaningful for me – all the moreso because I am performing them with my friends. It was at that moment that I decided to release a “duets” album. It consists of very beautiful and very diverse songs, many of which are very dear to my heart and hold a special meaning for me. With this album, I would like to express my gratitude to every artist with whom I had the pleasure of working and create this incredible music," said EMIN.

As singer says, the most emotional song on the album is "Forgive Me, My Love", which would become the title track. This beautiful song features the talented Russian songwriter, composer and producer Maxim Fadeyev, accompanying on the piano.

In total, the album consists of 13 studio recordings with artists like Ani Lorak, Polina Gagarina, Grigory Leps, Alexandr Marshal, A’Studio, Alexey Sparrow, Laima Vaikule and Irina Dubtsova.

Album highlights include one of Emin’s personal favorites, Oskolki leta (“Fragments of the Summer”), recorded with Valery Meladze, as well as the legendary song, Sibirskie Morozy (“Siberian Frosts”), which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

Emin recorded the song together with its original author and performer, Vladimir Kuzmin, accompanying on the guitar.

The album also boasts a rollicking blues composition, "Boogie Man", a cover of the classic, recorded together with Steven Seagal.

At the same time, the album features song "Inhale Me", which is included on a soundtrack to a Russian movie that’s due out in theaters in 2018.

As a special bonus, the album features two live tracks from Emin’s 2016 Live Show at Crocus City Hall: "Lets Find Each Other", with Maxim Fadeev, and "I Cannot Say", with Ani Lorak.

Many of the album tracks are "I Cannot Say" and "If You Are Near" (feat. A’Studio), which are beloved by EMIN`s fans and the music industry as a whole.

"There are some very unusual songs for me on this album,” Emin continues. “For example, the duet with Alex Sparrow. This song turned out to be a dance track, and a very dynamic one at that. The duet with Irina Dubtsova is also very powerful. Here I tried to venture into her territory, performance-wise, and it was a very interesting experience for me. The duet with Polina Gagarina turned out to be very gentle and romantic. I want to add a special thank you to Maxim Fadeev, who has written four songs for this album. The duet with him became the title track. It’s exactly the type of love I wanted to sing about," he said.

As a young boy Emin was sent to study in Europe which was later followed by a move to the America's East Coast. It was around this time that Emin discovered his passion for music, after his mother bought him a cassette of early Elvis recordings, not realizing how it would change her son's life.

Emin began to write songs, sing and learned guitar and piano. He continued to hone his music throughout high school and recorded a full Russian album when he was just 17. In 2006, he released his first English language album, ‘STILL’. The debut effort was well received and gave him the confidence to continue his success.

Like other artists working in two languages, Emin has developed parallel careers, racking up hits and picking up awards in Russia.
