Elchin Safarli's new book "When I return, be at home" hits the record for sales.

The novel of the famous Azerbaijani writer, which is published in the largest Russian publishing house ‘AST’ and tells about the relationship of the father and daughter, for the first 20 days of sales was realized with all the starting circulation – 30,000 copies.

The publishing house was shocked by the circulation, reporting that such a success of a book in the century when sales of printed materials decreased worldwide is very impressive.

The presentation of the novel “When I Come Back, Stay Home” was held at the Moscow Book House on Novy Arbat, where over 200 readers came to congratulate the author.

"When I return, be at home" is an emotional, deep book about boundless parental love, the dimensionless bitterness of losing your child and searching for ways to overcome this grief. The narrative is conducted on behalf of the father in the form of letters, which he writes to his deceased daughter, unable to reconcile with her absence in this world.

It is noteworthy that the year 2017 is marked as the 10th writing anniversary of Safarli.

“We have been walking along the same road for more than ten years, during this time someone joined us, and someone - left. In any case, the movement continues. Thank you for waiting for me and my stories,” writes Safarli in his instagram account, addressing subscribers.

One of the most popular young writers of the East, an author of the bestseller, “Tell me about the sea”, Elchin is the winner of several literary youth competitions. In his books he talks about the Eastern traditions, culture, life and love.

Forbes Russia Magazine included "Tell me about the sea" in Top 20 best-selling novels and collections of 2016.

Thirty-two-year-old novelist is an author of the bestseller "Sweet salt of the Bosphorus" and "There without Back." The novel "Sweet salt of the Bosporus" has earned the approval of the Nobel laureate for literature Orhan Pamuk.

Famous Turkish writer, with whom Safarli met at the XI Congress of the Union of Writers of Azerbaijan presented the first review to the book. "When I talk to this talented young man, I am convinced that the world literature still has a future," Pamuk said.
