Azerbaijani mugham, treasury of the world music continues to amaze music lovers.

The concert devoted to mugham modes was held in International Mugham Center on November 1.

Talented mugham masters Mammad Najafov, Gulnara Gudretli and Nisbet Sadrayeva performed famous mughams "Orta Mahur" and "Rahab".

Full of wonderful music, concert was co-organized by the International Mugham Center, Azerbaijani radio, Mədəniyyət TV channel as part of "Evenings of mugham music" project, Trend Life reported.

The singers were accompanied by "Mugham" ensemble, led by Sahib Pashazade. The ensemble includes honored artists Togrul Asadullaev (kemancha) and Chinara Heydarova (canon), as well as Shefa Kerimov (ud), Azad Alimammadov (balaban), Emin Dzhabrayilov (naghara).

The new season will run until December 27. There will be evenings devoted to various areas of mugham, including " Bayatı-Qacar" and " Şahnaz" (November 15), " Qatar", "Dəşti", " Mirzə Hüseyn Segahı" (November 29), "Xaric Segah" (December 6), " Heyratı", " Mənsuriyyə", " Qarabağ şikəstəsi", " Osmanlı", " Heydəri", " Simayi-Şəms" (December 13), " Ovşarı" and "Arazbarı" (December 27).

Tickets can be purchased at all ticket offices of the city, ASAN Service centers and website www.iticket.az.

A series of concerts devoted to the Azerbaijani mugham modes (Rast, Shur, Segah, Chahargyah, Bayati-Shiraz, Shushter, Humayun) kicked off from May 16 to June 30.
