The State Kremlin Palace hosted the main event of the year in European dances among professionals - World Cup 2017 on October 28.

The championship was an incredible success with best dancers from more than 30 countries.

Azerbaijan was represented by talented and world-renowned dancers Eldar Jafarov and Anna Sazhina, Day. Az reported.

A beautiful dance by an elegant couple leave audience mesmerized. It is almost unbelievable how amazing this dance duo moves with such ease, style and grace.

Eldar and Anna missed many dance performances this year due to injury. Nevertheless, they did not stop half way and continued to work hard.

The result was not slow to arrive: The confluence of bodily movements left no one indifferent. Azerbaijani dancers showed off his impeccable moves in the semi-final.

Only two positions separated them from reaching the final. As a result, dance couple got the 9th place in the championship.

Eldar and Anna shared their impressions about dance and World Cup 2017.

“Today one can notice that all elite dancers were sitting among the spectators in the hall. In fact, this is a very rare case when both judges and coaches from different countries made visas for themselves, bought tickets themselves and just came to enjoy dance. This is already a great achievement in the organization of the event,” said Anna.

“We enjoyed both dance and public. Artists always say that both sides are working. If you give to others, you will be given a full amount in return. And now this energy exchange was just amazing,” she added.

“Our coach Caterina Arzenton came here four days before the World Cup from Italy, and she trained us for the championship. It was emotionally difficult to prepare for these four days. But as I started dancing, I felt like everything came on its place,” said Eldar.

The championship turned into a great feast with its beautiful music and dancing.
