Norwegian, Polish musicians thrill jazz lovers

Two incredible concerts and a jim session with the participation of foreign performers have been held as part of the 12th Baku International Jazz Festival.

The festive events took place in the Rotunda Jazz Club on October 24.

A long evening of jazz began with a concert of a music band from Poland, Day.Az reported.

Talened pianist and composer Arthur Dutkevich, along with double-bass player Daniel Belem and drummer Sebastian Frankiewicz performed classical jazz. Their brilliant performance left nobody indifferent.

The evening was followed by a marvelous concert of Bendik Hofset quartet from Norway. The saxophonist, singer and composer Bendik Hofsen struck the hall not only with a beautiful saxophone playing, but also his voice.

In conclusion, the hall applauded the musicians for a long time and they played one more encore.

The concert was attended by the ambassadors of Poland, Norway, France, America and other countries.

The evening continued with a jam session with the participation of all musicians.

The Baku Jazz Festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the magazine "Jazz dünyası", the company "A + A Events" and "The Landmark Hotel Baku" with the partnership of a number of embassies, culture centers and companies operating in Azerbaijan.

A number of events, including International contest of young performers "I am Jazzman!", Days of Azerbaijani jazz, a concert of children's jazz, art exhibitions, master classes and other events are organized as part of the event.
