YARAT announces 'Open Studio Day'

YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites to the “Open Studio Day” at YARAT Studios on September 30.

YARAT Studios will open their doors for one day. Local and international artists working in the building invite the audience to explore their works and participate in workshops sharing their knowledge with everyone.

The guests will have chance to experience with the whole family an afternoon of art and inspiration across different media including design, art, photography, sound design and architecture.

Additionally information will be given to support young talents finding their way into the professional art world with talks on ARTIM LAB and a portfolio workshop guiding artists how successfully apply for art programs.

YARAT Studios was conceived with a mission to create a platform for creative exchange and provide artists with working environment. The building comprises of eleven working studios which are used by Azerbaijani and visiting international artists. The studios also houses YARAT residency programme that invites international artists to stay and work in Baku for up to three months. Resulting shows are hosted by the Artim Project Space.
