Azerbaijan was represented at the Eurasian Book Fair-2017 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Azerbaijan's pavilion at the fair featured books, brochures and magazines and more than 1,000 items, Trend Life reported.

The visitors were presented printed materials about the state, history, rich culture and art, as well as publications promoting the rich tourism opportunities in the country.

The book "Dünya azərbaycanlılarının palitrası" by journalist Fuad Huseynzadeh was also presented as part of the event.

The Eurasian International Book Fair is an important cultural and educational event for the region. The intellectual platform brings together publishing, bookselling, scientific, educational and printing companies of the CIS countries, Europe and Asia.

The exhibition’s agenda features an extensive cultural and business program. It includes conferences, presentations, round tables, forums, competitions and quizzes. Meetings with prominent figures of arts and literature are also hosted at the fair.
