Baku is hosting the fifth season of Azerbaijan Fashion Week, which is a top project bringing together Azerbaijani and foreign designers.
The runway shows are taking place in Fairmont Baku Flame Towers, the Stone Chronicle Museum and Icherisheher.
Azerbaijan Fashion Week traditionally presents collections of young talented designers. The collection "Design Stories" by designer Sevinj Karimova charmed all fashion lovers.
Her collection was greeted with applause from the audience, Trend Life reported.
Azerbaijan Fashion Week is held twice a year in November and May. More than 60 designers from Azerbaijan, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, France and Spain participated in last four seasons.
The main purpose of the Week is to popularize growing fashion industry in Azerbaijan and give an opportunity to young and talented designers to show their work to the world. It's a place that gathers local and international buyers, press and fashion critics together.
The event is open for fashion experts, including buyers of fashion retail chains and shops, representatives of glossy international as well as local publications.
