Eldar Gasimov to join Grand Euro Party

Grand Euro Party will be held on the Friday before the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, Trend Life reported.

Eduard Romanyuta, the Ukrainian born singer who represented Moldova at Eurovision 2015, is headlining the ‘Grand Euro Party’ on May 12 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The event will bring together winners and previous participants of the song contest, including winner of international song contest "Eurovision-2011" Eldar Gasimov.

Ell & Nikki, also known as Eldar & Nigar, are an Azerbaijani pop duo consisting of singers Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal. On 14 May 2011 they won the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 for Azerbaijan with their entry "Running Scared".

Moreover, Emmelie de Forest, Bojana Stamenov, Nina Sublatti, Morandi, Alexandra Stan, DJ MEG and others will please the audience with fantastic performances.

Diana Hajiyeva will represent Azerbaijan in the Eurovision 2017 Song Contest. The Azerbaijani singer will be slaying the way through the competition in Kyiv, with the song “Skeletons”.

Forty-three countries will participate in the Eurovision 2017 that will take place in the International Exhibition Centre in Kiev, Ukraine, following Ukraine's victory at the 2016 contest in Stockholm with the song "1944", performed by Jamala.

Azerbaijan will act in the first semi-final, which will also see performances of Montenegro, Finland, Georgia, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden, Albania and Australia.

Cyprus, Slovenia, Armenia, Moldova, Czech Republic, Latvia, Iceland, Greece, Poland will perform in the second semi-final.

The Big Five and the host country are directly qualified to the final. Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom will vote in Semi-Final 1. Germany, Ukraine and France will vote in Semi-Final 2.
