Red Garden to be shown in Austria

Azerbaijan's film "Red Garden" will be shown in Austria, Trend Life reported.

The feature film will be screened at LET’S CEE festival to be held on March 21-27.

"Red Garden" will be shown as part of the "Promising debut" program.

Once a year Vienna hosts the International LET’S CEE Film Festival, exclusively featuring high-quality productions from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), including the Caucasus region and Turkey.

Since its first appearance in 2012, the festival presents an outstanding selection of the best current feature films, documentaries, shorts and promising debuts from altogether 26 countries, all entered in the festival’s four competitions.

"Red garden" refers to the difficult genre of drama which reminds people that love is our only salvation.

The film tells the story of a provincial teacher from blue blood, Abbas. А desperate desire of having his own son makes him so indifferent to orphan in his custody and even to deadlock situation of his beloved spouse Vafa. But everything changes, when he himself causes Vafa’s death. Now in the otherworld Abbas is craving to have back all the things that he couldn’t protect in this world…

Cast includes Magsud Mammadov, Gulzar Gurbanova, and Taleh Badiyev. A film was co-produced by AzerbaijanFilm Company and White Media, (Russia).
