Thirty more students gain chance to take internship at Azercell
The selection process for Summer Internship Program 2016 launched by Azercell Telecom has come to an end. As a result, 30 students have gained an opportunity to participate in the internship program with the leading telecom company this summer. The interns are mainly the students of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, Qafqaz University and Baku State University. Internship Program provides an opportunity for students to apply their academic knowledge in real work environment and obtain knowledge in telecommunication field. Young individuals qualified in the selection process of Summer Internship Program get an opportunity to work and gain experience for two months in the company. In addition, students get knowledge straight from the source in telecommunications industry and become involved in exciting and demanding projects. The program also helps for further career development of the young fellows.
First stage of the selection process held on May 15-25 based on the evaluation of applications. Students and graduates invited to the next stage were evaluated via various tests, tasks and interviews. Academic activities, professional knowledge and other interests of the students’ and graduates’ were also considered during evaluation process. Final stage of the selection process included the evaluation and face-to-face interviews.
The internship program is going to last till September. At the end of the program the interns will be awarded with certificates by Azercell. So far, 103 students have taken internship under Summer Internship program of Azercell.
