Central Bank sets manat rate for May 4
The official exchange rate of Azerbaijani manat against the US dollar was set at 1.5094 manats for May 4, Azerbaijan's Central Bank (CBA) reported on May 3.
Manat's rate against the US dollar has dropped by 0.2 percent as compared to May 3.
The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) sold $5.6 million to seven banks through the auction held by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) May 3.
Meanwhile, the CBA obtained $40 million at the auction.
SOFAZ offered $50 million for sale through the auction.
