Taxes ministry reshuffled
Azerbaijan’s Taxes Minister Fazil Mammadov has reduced the number of his advisors from 13 to seven.
The ministry announced on February 5 that Asef Asadov, Akif Musayev, Mahir Rafiyev, Asif Jahangirov, Rahim Afandiyev, Namig Guliyev and Musaver Nabiyev were dismissed prom their posts of the ministerial advisors.
However, they were all assigned to structural units of the ministry.
Aside from that, Tariyel Guliyev was named a new advisor to Minister Mammadov.
Currently, the minister’s advisors are Alakbar Mammadov, Riyad Huseynov, Mahammad Sadigov, Habil Mammadov, Ilgar Ahmadov, Ilham Amiraliyev and Tariyel Guliyev.
The newly established structure at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes - General Directorate for International Relations and Tax Monitoring of Financial Institutions, has been headed by the minister’s advisor Alakbar Mammadov.
He replaced Natig Shirinov on this post. Shirinov has been appointed head of the Tax Department #1 of the ministry.
Numerous personnel and structural changes were made at the Ministry in 2015.
