AZAL announces low-cost flights on Baku-Moscow-Baku route

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will start regular low-cost flights on Baku-Moscow-Baku route from October 25, 2015.

The tickets for sale and booking are available at the AZAL sales offices and on AZAL’s website at www.azal.az

The flights will be carried out every day with Airbus A320.

The tickets (including all dues) on these flights cost 99 euros one way (if purchased through the AZAL website) and points of sale of the airline.

On this route, one should pay for each luggage (no more than 23 kg), while the hand luggage (no more than 8 kg) in the size of 55x35x20 cm is free.

The flight departs from Terminal 2, the Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 15:00 (UTC/GMT +5 hours) and arrives at the Vnukovo Airport at 17:10 (UTC/GMT +3 hours).

The return flight departs from Moscow at 18:10 (UC/GMT +3 hours) and arrives in Baku at 22:00 (UTC/GMT +5 hours).

Moreover, one can also obtain tickets for low-cost routes Baku-Dubai-Baku, Baku-Istanbul-Baku and Baku-Antalya-Baku for 99 euros in AZAL sales offices and on the website of the company.

Azerbaijan Airlines is a major air carrier and one of the leaders of the aviation community of the CIS countries. Total route network of the airline is 40 destinations in 19 countries. Azerbaijan Airlines transported more than 1.8 million passengers in 2014.

Azerbaijani civil aviation aircraft fully meets the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and AZAL is a member of the most prestigious civil aviation association - the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

AZAL received a prestigious "4 Stars" from the leader in air transport research, world-famous British consulting company Skytrax in June 2015. At the same time, Azerbaijani national carrier was nominated for the award established by Skytrax agency – the “World Airline Awards” in the global category "World Airline that achieved most progress", taking its second place of honor.

The company has one of the newest airplane fleet that consists of 25 airplanes. AZAL headquarters is in Baku, at Heydar Aliyev International Airport that meets international standards (it was awarded "4 Stars" rating in December 2014).
