Baku to acquaint itself with 3D printer's opportunities

Baku will learn how to increase its earnings with the help of 3 dimensional printer in February.
For the first time, Azerbaijan’s capital will host a conference on the innovative technologies in the field of 3D printing 3D PrintConference on February 12, 2015.
The event aims to inform the participants about the three-dimensional technology and its uniqueness. This technology allows to create a 3D model of the product on computer and in a short time to get a full physical object that will fit the specified parameters.
The advantages of 3D-printers are obvious: they reduce the cost of manufacturing products, reduce the time of its appearance on the market, and allow designing elements of any shape and complexity. 3D printing provides a rapid and precise production using different materials.
Many of the world's leading producers have realized how to use 3D printing in large scale. Indeed, the U.S. plans to replace the traditional production by the universal high technology based on 3D printing. China builds houses with a breathtaking speed with use of four huge 3D printers. The structures for 10 buildings were built within 24 hours, and the cost of such construction is only $5,000 for each house.
Three-dimensional printing has already entered our lives, opening up new opportunities in various fields. Today, 3D printing is used in fast prototyping and engineering (automotive styling, aeromodelling, tuning), food industry, military industry and robotics, design and manufacture of clothing, medicine and stomatology (prosthesis, crowns, copies of the individual parts of the human body and the entire skeleton), architecture and construction (models of buildings, structures, some areas of the city and cottage settlements), as well as education (teaching aids, models).
3D Conference in Baku will show which kinds of opportunities the technology opens in Azerbaijan.
The event program will consist of a conference, where managers and entrepreneurs will discuss the opportunities of using 3D printing in business, workshops that will demonstrate the principles of 3D printer work and scanning processes, and the demo area, which will demonstrate products and services created by means of three-dimensional printing.
The conference will be organized by Smile Expo company, that held grand thematic exhibitions in Moscow, Kiev, and Almaty.
3D PrintConference will held at Tbilisi Avenue, 20, "Grand Hotel Europe" in Baku on February 12, 2015.
