Azerbaijan joins World Congress of Vine and Wine
A delegation of the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry has
participated in the 37th World Congress of Vine and Wine and the
12th General Assembly of the International Organization of Vine and
Wine (OIV) in Argentina reported.
At the General Assembly, which brought together the delegations of
36 OIV Member States, Director General of the OIV Jean-Marie Aurand
called to mind the 90 years since the creation of the organization
and the 10 years since it re-established itself in 2004,AzerTag
state news agency.
He was also pleased that the General Assembly had adopted the
2015-2019 Strategic Plan, which sets the road map for the OIV's
scientific activities over the next five years.
During the trip, the Azerbaijani delegation held a number of
meetings with the organization`s officials.
The 38th World Congress of Vine and Wine and the 13th General
Assembly of the International Organization of Vine and Wine will be
held in Germany in 2015.
