Baku, Tehran study new prospects of cooperation

Iran and Azerbaijan are expected to explore new prospects for cooperation during Azerbaijani Economy and Industry Minister Shahin Mustafayev's visit to Iran.

Mustafayev is accompanied by a delegation of representatives of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic's Supreme Assembly, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Azerenerji JSC and the ministries of foreign affairs, transport and emergency situations, IRNA news agency reported.

During the three-day visit, the parties will discuss the implementation of the agreements reached at the 9th meeting of the Azerbaijani-Iranian intergovernmental commission on economic, trade and cultural cooperation.

They will also discuss preparations for the Iranian president's official visit to Azerbaijan, scheduled for this autumn.

Mustafayev will also get acquainted with Iran's industrial facilities.
