Schneider Electric holds seminar on automation products, energy efficiency

Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management with operations in more than 100 countries, has held a one-day seminar in Baku.
The event, which was held on April 16 in Baku's Park Inn Hotel, brought together over 60 electric specialists of private businesses and universities to learn more about SE automation products and solutions, the company said on April 17.
Adressing the event participants, Schneider Electric Azerbaijan Country President Emrah Tekdemir underlined the constant development of Azerbaijan and importance of energy efficiency methods introduction to increase business profits and secure better living environment for the future generations.
Punhan Seyidov, SE automation business team leader, broadly described Schneider Electric automation products and solutions available in the Azerbaijan market and shared SE working experience with local businesses and infrastructural projects.
Seyidov pointed out Schneider Electric support to developing local electric engineers and noticed a good level of cooperation with the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Azerbaijan State Technical University, Azerbaijan State Marine Academy.
Oil Academy's deputy dean professor Ramiz Hasanov expressed his gratitude to Schneider Electric for the support to the Azerbaijan's education and stressed a great value of the global energy company's knowledge and experience application in Azerbaijan.
