Azerbaijan, Kuwait eye trade ties
Kuwaiti entrepreneur Nasser el Sabah and Chairman of "Kuwait-Azeri" Trade Enterprise Raid Khidir Rajab have visited the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) to discuss prospects for cooperation between the two countries, AzerTag state news agency reported.
They met AZPROMO head Rufat Mammadov who highlighted Azerbaijan's economic successes, Azerbaijan-initiated large-scale regional projects, business and investment climate in the country, and the government`s support for entrepreneurship.
Azerbaijan and Kuwait established diplomatic relations on October 10, 1994 with Azerbaijan opening an embassy in Al-Kuwait in 2004 and Kuwait opening an embassy in Baku in 2006.
