Bakutel-2017 exhibition visitors may get e-signatures free of charge

The visitors of the 23rd Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference (Bakutel 2017) will be able to receive e-signatures free of charge, the Information and Computing Center of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies told Trend.

The 23rd Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference (Bakutel 2017) is being held at the Baku Expo Center on December 5-8.

The certificates for e-signatures are raffled off on a competitive basis in the "Electronic government" pavilion.

It is necessary to pass registration at the information booth and answer six questions about "e-government" and e-services to participate in the contest.

The visitors can receive a certificate for e-signature free of charge after answering the questions correctly.

E-signature simplifies the access of citizens to electronic services of state institutions that are available on the Electronic Government Portal. One can order the e-signature via www.e-imza.az website.

Currently, for Azerbaijani citizens the cost of e-signatures issued for three years is 18 manats. Moreover, individuals and legal entities engaged in entrepreneurial activities can get e-signatures for 36 manats and 72 manats, respectively, while employees of state institutions can get them for 58 manats.
