U.S. trade mission to eye business opportunities in Azerbaijan

The next U.S. Trade Mission to Azerbaijan, organized in
partnership with ExportDC will be realized on September 15-16.
The mission will feature small and medium-size American companies
specializing in sustainable energy development, green finance,
strategic and advisory services, health services management and
health education consulting, sales and marketing automation
services, user experience research, strategy and design, landscape
architecture, planning and urban design services, IT, software
design and development, infrastructure projects consulting,
instructional content design and workforce training consulting,
defense products and services, civil engineering, surveying and
landscape architecture, business advisory and import-export
management and advanced operator training simulators, USACC
reported.
The participating companies are Browne and Associates, Cube84, Symbiosis DC, Synergetic Information Systems, C.L. Russell Group, Zura Consulting, West Coast Connections.
The mission will feature country economic and sector-specific briefings, networking reception, exclusive meetings with relevant officials, one-on-one individual business appointments with prospective agents, distributors, partners and end-users.

Azerbaijan enjoys being America’s largest trade partner in the South Caucasus and has successfully pursued major mutually beneficial trade deals.
The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan has invested approximately $3 billion in the United States, including in the US Treasury, Federal Home Loan Bank, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bonds, as well as in US corporate debt and equities.
Currently , Azerbaijan is working with partners in the region and beyond, including the United States, to expand direct export routes of Caspian natural gas to European markets. The recently announced Trans-Anatolian (TANAP) and Trans-Adriatic (TAP) natural gas pipelines, which are essential for Europe’s Southern Gas Corridor, highlight the strategic importance of Azerbaijan’s natural resources, including its major Shah Deniz gas field.
