World Cup Finals in Rhythmic Gymnastics due in Baku - VIDEO
Baku will host final of the World Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics this summer.
From July 22 to 24 Baku spectators will have a chance to watch performance of famous gymnasts from 22 countries for two weeks before the main event of the year -- Rio 2016 Summer Olympics.
On the first two days of the ninth stages of the World Cup, 34 world-renowned athletes and 11 teams will compete in group exercises. The last day of the Cup finals will see performances in different disciplines.
Azerbaijan will be represented by the silver medalist of the 1st European Games, bronze medalist of European Championship Marina Durunda, as well as silver medalist European Championship among juniors Jala Piriyeva, who just joined the ranks of adult gymnasts.
Siyana Vasileva, Ayshan Bayramova, Alexandra Platonova, Diana Doman and Elif Zeynep Celep will represent the country in group exercises.
