Ganja eyes future activity of Network of European Youth Capitals

A meeting of the Network of the European Youth Capitals took place in Ganja within the "Ganja - European Youth Capital-2016" project, Azertac reports.

Moderator of the meeting, the Network of European Youth Capitals Secretary General Andras Farkas has noted that the events held in connection with election of Ganja as the European Youth Capital 2016 were useful and interesting. He has especially noted the high level of their organization.

Addressing the meeting, Elmir Veliyev, chairman of the Public Association "Ganja –European Youth Capital-2016" has told that he is proud of the fact that this ancient Azerbaijani city was awarded such event, informed on the work to be done within the project.

Having emphasized that in this regard within a year a number of actions will be carried out, Elmir Veliyev noted the role of the country’s international authority that Ganja has been elected the capital of European youth.

The chairman of Public Association has also informed on development of regions of the country and youth policy the foundation of which has been laid by the great leader Heydar Aliyev and which is successfully realized by the President Ilham Aliyev.

Participants of meeting discussed the Plan of future actions of the Network of European Youth Capitals, exchanged views on the forthcoming tasks.
