President Ilham Aliyev, Hungarian PM hold one-on-one meeting - UPDATE
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, who is on an official visit in the country, held a one-on-one meeting.
Prime Minister Orban and his spouse Aniko Levai were welcomed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva.
Azerbaijan’s president, Hungarian prime minister and their wives posed for photographs, then the president and the prime minister held a private meeting.
They hailed the successful development of the bilateral relations in different areas, particularly in political and economic ones. The importance of the visit in expanding Azerbaijani-Hungarian relations was stressed during the meeting.
The sides pointed to good potential for developing the bilateral relations in different fields.
They also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern.
Following their private meeting, President Aliyev and Prime Minister Orban met in an expanded format and made speeches at the event.
Later, President Aliyev and Prime Minister Orban have made statements for the press.
On the same day, President Aliyev has hosted a dinner reception in honor of Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, who is on an official visit in the country.
First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and spouse of Hungarian Prime Minister Aniko Levai attended the event.
