Azerbaijan's Stepko wins silver at FIG World Challenge Cup
Azerbaijani gymnast Oleg Stepko has won the silver medal in vault event at the FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics in Baku.
He scored 14.650 points of two attempts.
Japanese gymnast Kenzo Shirai grabbed the gold medal with 14.975 points, while the Turkish gymnast Ahmet Onder won the bronze by scoring 14.400 points.
The FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics kicked off in Baku on February 19 and is to end on February 21. As many as 45 male and 22 female gymnasts compete for medals in apparatus finals of the World Challenge Cup.
In general, athletes from 19 countries are participating in the event.
