Azerbaijani envoy presents his credentials to AUC
Azerbaijani ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Permanent Representative to the African Union Elman Abdullayev has presented his credentials to Chairperson of the African Union Commission Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, the Foreign Ministry said.
The sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in humanitarian, cultural, educational and other spheres and hailed the great potential for wider cooperation.
Congratulating Abdullayev , Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma said that Azerbaijan has made great economic achievements and it takes an important place in international organizations thanks to its increasing reputation in the international arena, hosts prestigious events each year, and the first European Games will be held in Azerbaijan this year, AzerTac state news agency reported.
