President Aliyev honored with “Int’l Friendship and Peace Award”
Turkey`s Specialized Media Reporters Federation has conferred
the International Friendship and Peace Award upon Azerbaijani
President Ilham Aliyev.
A ceremony to announce awards was held in Ankara, bringing together
members of the Turkish Parliament, politicians, scholars, media
representatives, NGO leaders, and foreign ambassadors, AzerTac
state news agency reported.
Chairman of the Association Kenan Mecit announced that President
Aliyev was honored with the International Friendship and Peace
Award.
Jeyhun Zeynalov, Advisor at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara was
handed the award.
Other recipients of the International Friendship and Peace Award
are Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Albanian Prime
Minister Edi Rama.
