Armenian army suffered more casualties than reported

An official at the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry confirmed that Armenia's military losses have long gone unreported in a bid to hide the harsh reality of Yerevan's policy to its own people and prevent Armenians from knowing the truth about their leaders' reckless policy against Azerbaijan.
Over the past two days, Armenia has suffered great losses, particularly in terms of manpower, according to the ministry.
Spokesman for the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, Vagif Dargahli explained that as a result of the escalation on the line of contact, the Armenian troops had suffered numerous casualties.
Although Armenian media reported about the deaths of only seven Armenian servicemen, Dargahli claimed that more soldiers lost their lives during the skirmishes.
"During the clashes over the past two days the Armenian armed forces faced more losses than the reported figures. The exact number will likely be announced later," he noted.
Referring to poor health conditions in the Armenian army, Dargahli said the ministry has repeatedly informed about the cases of tuberculosis and other diseases threatening the enemy soldiers.
As it happens, even the Armenian media have admitted that tuberculosis remains a major problem within the army as many soldiers continue to suffer from this disease.
True to its deceptive nature, the Armenian authorities mislead the people with false statements, deliberately withholding information about the situation with Azerbaijan and the losses it suffered as a result of its attempts to encroach on Azerbaijan's territories.
The realities of the Armenian military came to light in the words of a surrendered Armenian soldier, who confirmed the Armenian brass's deceptive approach in view of the situation on the contact line.
Armenian soldier Andranik Grigoryan, a volunteer capitulator to the Azerbaijani army, said the rulers in Yerevan exerted zealous efforts to conceal the consequences of the armed skirmishes between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops, exampling the deaths of over 20 soldiers at the clashes on March 19.
Grigoryan has voluntarily surrendered to the Azerbaijani troops on March 22 raising a white flag along the line of contact.
In the light of the military atmosphere in Azerbaijan's occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region, Grigoryan exposed the chaos and intolerable conditions prevailing in the occupied lands, revealing the absence of military discipline, shortages of weapons, ammunition, food and medicines.
Meanwhile, according to the local population, a field hospital of the Armenian army in the territory of Karakent suffers a severe shortcoming of medicine for the wounded and the sick.
As a result of Armenia's armed invasion into Azerbaijan's legal territory, the two neighboring countries remain locked in a bitter territorial dispute over the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which Armenia-backed separatists seized from Azerbaijan in a bloody war in the early 1990s.
Despite Baku's best efforts, peace in the occupied lands remains a mirage in the distance since Armenia refuses to comply with international law and continues its occupation of over 20 percent of Azerbaijan's internationally recognized territory.
