First Lady opens building for orphan graduates

Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev
Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva has attended the opening ceremony of a
120-apartment block for orphan graduates deprived of parental care
in Masazir, Baku.
The first lady and Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov cut the
ribbon symbolizing the official inauguration of the building.
The 13-storey building has 120 apartments. It has also a 50-seat
cafe, a kitchen, a barber shop, a trade hall, table games, internet
halls and laundry. All conditions have been created here. All
apartments have necessary equipment.
First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva praised conditions created here.
Later, the first lady and Arzu Aliyeva attended the opening
ceremony of the Republican Children’s Sanatorium of the Health
Ministry after reconstruction in Buzovna, Baku.
Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev informed the first lady about the
works carried out here.
The sanatorium was commissioned in 1986. The reconstruction works started in June 2012. The 6-storey building covers an area of 8,000 square meters. The sanatorium, which employs 182-strong medical staff, is supplied with modern medical equipment.
