Azerbaijan attractive country for Poland
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led
by Janusz Piechocinski, Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister
of Poland, co-chair of Azerbaijan-Poland Intergovernmental
Commission on economic cooperation, AzerTag state news agency
reported.
President Aliyev noted that political relations between Azerbaijan
and Poland were at a high level.
Noting that the trade between the two countries increased, the
head of state said there were big prospects for the expansion of
cooperation between the two countries in the economic, investment
making and other areas.
President Aliyev stressed the importance of developing bilateral
bonds in terms of the regional cooperation. The head of state
expressed confidence that a meeting of Azerbaijan-Poland
Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation would be a
success.
Piechocinski said ongoing big development processes in Azerbaijan
made deep impressions on them and congratulated the head of state
on the achievements.
He conveyed greetings on behalf of President Bronislaw Komorowski and Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz to the head of state.
Touching upon mutual economic ties, Piechocinski said he visited Azerbaijan with a big delegation of Polish businessmen, and noted with pleasure that Azerbaijan was an attractive country in terms of cooperation.
“Azerbaijan`s achievements in non-oil sector were followed with
great interest in Poland,” he said.
President Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings of
President Bronislaw Komorowski and Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz and
asked Janusz Piechocinski to communicate his greetings to the
Polish president and prime minister.
