Heydar Aliyev Foundation provides humanitarian assistance to Romanian orphanage

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has provided humanitarian assistance to St. Mary orphanage in Bucharest, Romania. The assistance included provision of domestic appliances, food and clothing.
Head of the orphanage Juliana Stoicesku praised the Foundation's "continuously assisting people in need."
"We thank the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, especially its President Mehriban Aliyeva for the assistance," she said.
Director of the Foundation's Romania Office Igbal Hajiyev highlighted the activities of the Foundation. He said the Foundation will continue its charity campaigns in Bucharest and other Romanian cities.
Starting its activity since 2004, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been actively participating in building a new society and contributing to the social and economic development of Azerbaijan, by implementing various projects in spheres such as education, public health, culture, sports, science and technology, environment, and social and other spheres.
The major mission of the Foundation is to support socio-economic and humanitarian development within the country and abroad.
