Azerbaijan, Serbia enjoy potential for expansion of cooperation
Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of the newly-appointed ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, Nebojsa Rodic, on October 23.
Rodic reviewed the guard of honor. The diplomat handed his credentials to President Aliyev, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The president had a conversation with the ambassador.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia, and noted that there was good potential for the expansion of cooperation in various areas.
Rodic said he would spare no efforts towards developing the ties between the two countries.
The Azerbaijani-Serbian relations, which are based on the principles of mutual respect and confidence, are rapidly developing. The two countries have significant opportunities to develop cooperation in the construction of infrastructure facilities, tourism, and education.
