Russian Caspian Flotilla's ships seen in Baku port
Two ships of the Caspian Flotilla, the maritime element of the Southern Military District, which is stationed in Astrakhan and ensures Russian national interests in the Caspian Sea, berthed at the Baku port.
Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry reported that the crews of the
Russian missile ship Dagestan and small missile ship Grad Svijazhsk
were welcomed by representatives of the Azerbaijan's Navy and the
Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
During their stay in Baku, the command and staff of the ships will
visit the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs, and meet with
the command of the Azerbaijani Navy.
They will also view the educational process at Azerbaijan's Highest
Naval Military School, as well as go sightseeing in Baku.
It is also planned to hold a friendly football match.
The visit will continue until December 19.
