Azerbaijan to join OSCE PA autumn session
A delegation headed by the vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE PA Bahar Muradova will be on a visit to Geneva (Switzerland) on October 1-6 to participate in the autumn session of the assembly.
The delegation includes Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy Eldar Ibrahimov, Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights Rabiyyat Aslanova, deputy chairman of the Committee on Regional Affairs Fattah Heydarov, vice-chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Committee on Political Affairs and Security Azay Guliyev.
The 'OSCE PA Mediterranean Forum' and then a conference on "Role of parliaments in the new security challenges" will be held as part of the session. The military-political, economic, environmental, human criteria of the OSCE activity in the economic, environmental and other issues will be discussed at this conference.
A number of organizational issues will be considered at a meeting of the standing committee.
