Baku to host V1 Challenge racing contest

Baku will host the V1 Challenge Azerbaijan contest for the first time in the near future.

Over 110,000 spectators watched the contest in 2011-2013 to feel the adrenaline.

The Azerbaijan Automobile Federation organizer of the contest said the V1 Challenge contest also promotes a healthy lifestyle.

The first competition on volkicar was held in Turkey. The V1 Challenge tests the skill, reaction and professionalism of the drivers.

The 500-kg volkicar is produced in Turkey. It has an engine of 115 horsepower and reaches the speed of 100km/h in 5 seconds.

On the eve of the show, Baku will host an event dedicated to the presentation of the competition.

The presentation will be held soon at the Baku Crystal Hall. During the event car enthusiasts will see professional drivers, demonstrating unbelievable maneuvers.

Professional drivers will demonstrate their experience and driving precision. Sixteen drivers from Azerbaijan and other countries will take part in the tournament.

Prior to the show, a parade of cars competing in the tournament will be held in Baku.

Preparatory trainings for the "V1 Challenge Azerbaijan" were launched on August 25.

Theoretical and practical trainings were organized for drivers and judges during the trainings. Azerbaijan Automobile Federation's President Anar Alakbarov also attended the training sessions.
