Ganja hosts  int'l youth forum

The first International Youth Forum of EYP Azerbaijan "Create Innovative Future, Reshape the World" organized by the ASAN Volunteers Youth Organization and European Youth Parliament (EYP) in Azerbaijan kicked off in Ganja on August 21.

The aim of the forum, which brings together 70 youth from 15 countries, is to show initiative to integration between Azerbaijan and European countries, strengthening processes of knowledge and exchange, social activity of Azerbaijani youth and their participation in social projects, AzerTag state news agency reported.

Addressing the forum, head of the Ganja City Executive Authorities Elmar stressed the importance of the event, and called the youth to be active in discussions.

Valiyev also informed the attendees on work done to increase the activities of the youth in Ganja, which was selected as the European Youth Capital 2016.

The attendees discussed a number of issues, including "How European countries can provide equal educational opportunity, taking into consideration the cultural and socio-economic diversity of European societies?"

The forum will end on August 24.
