President Aliyev inaugurates new shipyard

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a new shipyard of the Coast Guard of the State Border Service in Turkan, Baku on July 18.
Chief of the State Border Service, Commander of the Border Troops Lt-Gen Elchin Guliyev reported to President and Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
The head of state reviewed the master plan and model of the shipyard and examined the construction of a ship.
Later, President Aliyev was familiarized with the stands reflecting major tactical and technical features of high-speed border patrol vessels with sailing capabilities produced at the shipyard.
The head of state also watched a promotional video.
President Aliyev reviewed technical features of a border patrol vessel and watched its maneuvers.
