Bulgaria considered Azerbaijan as an important country.

Zlatanova made the remark at a meeting with Azerbaijan's ambassador
in Sofia Emil Karimov.
She said Bulgaria attached special emphasis to expanding its
relations with Azerbaijan, AzerTag state news agency reported
Zlatanova hailed cooperation between the two countries` justice authorities, underlining the significance of continuing work to expand the bilateral cooperation even further.
Karimov highlighted latest reforms in Azerbaijan`s justice and legal system.
He stressed the necessity of increasing reciprocal visits of justice officials and organizing bilateral meetings in international organizations.
The diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan were established in the June 1992. There are very close relations between the two countries.
These relations have been expanded in the last ten years. Political, economic, scientific, technological and cultural relations are developing rapidly. The presidents of both countries have repeatedly declared their interest in the expansion of these relations.
