President Aliyev receives Saudi delegation
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by General Director of Border Guard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Zamim Al-Sawwat, AzerTag state news agency reported.
President Aliyev stressed the importance of friendly ties between the two countries. He said relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia were developing successfully.
Noting that Azerbaijan Saudi Arabia had excellent political dialogue, President Aliyev hailed the bilateral cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The head of state stressed the importance of developing cooperation between border guard services, expressing confidence that joint activities, and exchange of experience and information in this area will contribute to strengthening security of the two countries.
Al-Sawwat, in turn, recalled with satisfaction his last year visit to Azerbaijan.
He said they were discussing with their Azerbaijani counterparts the issues of development of cooperation.
