Azerbaijan, South Korea to boost inter-parliamentary ties
A parliamentary delegation led by Azerbaijan's First Deputy
Parliamentary Speaker Ziyafat Asgarov will visit Seoul on April 4
at the invitation of deputy chairman of South Korean National
Assembly, the parliament reported.
The delegation includes the head of the working group on
inter-parliamentary relations, Malik Hasanov, and group members
(MPs) - Rauf Aliyev, Imamverdi Ismayilov, Sedaget Veliyeva and
Rustam Khalilov.
During the visit, the MPs will become familiar with the activity of
South Korean parliament, as well as working conditions of the
country's MPs. The delegation members will meet with the speaker,
vice-speaker of South Korean National Assembly, members of the
inter-parliamentary friendship group and will discuss the
strengthening of bilateral relations, exchange of experience and
information in the sphere of legislation, as well as
intensification of mutual visits.
The sides also plan to meet with South Korean prime minister and
foreign minister.
As part of the visit, the MPs will become familiar with South
Korea's leading companies in the sphere of information
technologies, such as SK Telekom, Samsung Electronics.
The visit will last till April 10.
