Azerbaijan, UNWTO mull bilateral ties

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met Secretary-General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Taleb Rifai on April 3, AzerTag state news agency reported.
They praised cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNWTO, and discussed ways of boosting the bilateral ties.
Rifai hailed Azerbaijan`s achievements in the development of tourism, stressing the increasing interest of foreign tourists to the country.
Earlier, Rifai was received by President Ilham Aliyev.
President Aliyev and Taleb Rifai discussed prospects for expanding Azerbaijan-UNWTO cooperation, as well as tourism potential of Azerbaijan.
