Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) and UK's Glasgow University signed a memorandum of understanding, ADA's Communications Department reported on November 4.

The document was undersigned by ADA Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr Patrick Quinn and Head of the College of Social Sciences of the Glasgow University, Professor Anne Anderson.

Noting the importance of this mutual programme between the two universities and cooperation to be established, Dr Quinn said this memorandum is of great significance for the teacher and student staff of the two universities.

According to the memorandum, the two universities will carry out student exchange program each academic semester. During each semester two students will have the opportunity to participate in this program.

The memorandum also envisages academic, cultural as well as research exchange programs for students.

Scottish-based Glasgow University was established in 1451 and is one of the four oldest universities of Britain.
