President Aliyev receives chairman of European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received on May 24 chairman
of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs Elmar Brok,
AzerTac state news agency reported.
The Head of State hailed the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the
European institutions as successfully developing.
The President stressed the importance of defining prospects for
expanding the partnership relations.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope Elmar Brok`s visit would
contribute to enhancing the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the
European institutions.
Elmar Brok said the European Parliament was interested in expanding
the cooperation with Azerbaijan.
He touched upon Azerbaijan`s relations with the European
institutions, noting the importance of cooperation as part of the
Eastern Partnership program.
They discussed prospects for the Azerbaijan-European Parliament
cooperation.
