Iranian deputy FM’s visit postponed
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi's visit to Azerbaijan scheduled for last Friday has been postponed, the Iranian embassy in Baku told Trend news agency.
According to the embassy, the postponement is due to the tight working schedule of officials from both countries.
Reports said that the main goal of Araghchi's visit was to discuss the case of two Azerbaijani poets detained in the neighboring country in early May reportedly on spying charges, an allegation dismissed by Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry as unfounded.
