Armenia must return Azerbaijan’s occupied territories – Korean MP
BAKU – Armenia must return the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, Chairman of Korean National Assembly`s Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs Committee Song Kwang-ho said in Baku Monday at a meeting with Vice-Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis (parliament) Ziyafat Asgarov.
Kwang-ho noted Azerbaijan was an interesting country for Korea. He also highly appreciated the Azerbaijani people`s hospitality.
Asgarov said cooperation between Azerbaijan and Korea was developing rapidly in various fields. He also praised relations between the two countries` parliaments.
Asgarov underscored the role of the two countries` leaders in expansion of bilateral relationship. He added documents signed during reciprocal visits had created solid legal basis for comprehensive development of bilateral cooperation.
The Vice-Speaker also pointed out Milli Majlis Speaker Ogtay Asadov`s visit to Korea in 2007 gave an impetus to ties between the two countries` legislative bodies.
He also briefed Kwang-ho on the consequences of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
