Armenian delegation participating in the International Gastronomy Festival in Paris tried to commit another provocation against Azerbaijan.

General Secretary of the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan in France and the head of the Azerbaijani House in Paris Mirvari Fataliyeva, who represented Azerbaijanis at the festival, informed that Armenians put the flag of the illegal regime created in the occupied Azerbaijani territories along with the Armenian flag in their tent.

However, after the protest of the head of the Azerbaijani Diaspora, the flag of the illegal regime was removed.

This is not the first attempt of Armenian provocateurs to present the Azerbaijani region of Nagorno-Karabakh, invaded by the Armenians in early 1990s, as an Armenian territory. However, every time Azerbaijani diplomats and citizens who participate at these festivals thwart the Armenian provocations.

The International Gastronomy Festival in Paris lasted for three days, where city residents and tourists acquainted with samples of the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan in the country's stand at the event.

Hot dishes of Azerbaijani cuisine, sweets and drinks were presented at the festival.

Moreover, the Azerbaijani stand featured handwork, samples of national art, clothes and jewelry reflecting the history and culture of the country.

The festival was attended by 40 countries.
