Azerbaijanis hold protest in front of Armenian embassy in Moldova

Azerbaijanis living all over the world continue to support their homeland in bringing the truth about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Armenian aggression to the world.
Today, the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Moldova held a protest action in the center of Chisinau and in front of the Armenian Embassy, Trend reports.
The main goal of the action was to condemn the killing of 2-year-old Zahra and her grandmother in the Alkhanli village of Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli region by Armenian armed forces. Turkish and Gagauz public organizations of Moldova joined the protest as well.
During the action, protesters were carrying posters and banners reflecting the aggressive policy of Armenia. In front of the Armenian Embassy, they showed the pictures of Zahra and her grandmother and chanted slogans condemning Armenia’s policy of aggression.
The protesters further demanded from Armenia to withdraw from the occupied Azerbaijani territories and urged the international community to take decisive actions in order to put an end to Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan.
Armenia captured Nagorno-Karabakh and seven surrounding regions from Azerbaijan in a war that followed the Soviet breakup in 1991. More than 20,000 Azerbaijanis were killed and nearly 1 million were displaced as a result of the war.
Large-scale hostilities ended with a Russia-brokered ceasefire in 1994 but Armenia continued the occupation in defiance of four UN Security Council resolutions calling for immediate and unconditional withdrawal.
Peace talks mediated by Russia, France and the U.S. within the OSCE Minsk Group have produced no results so far.
